...ehm...I don't get it. what do I don't get? Well...even tough, the sonic fanbase is crazy...I didn't think it would be this crazy. We all know, what Sonic is about right? Sonic fighting robotnik/Eggman and its meant for all ages. not adults. not just kids. everyone.
thats basically the original source material, since the first sonic game. we all know this. but...why does it seem, that very few in the fanbase know this? I have seen lots of people say what sonic is all about. and everyone is different about it.
Some people say they don't like sonic boom, because it has nothing to do with sonic. how? the show can be enjoyed by people of all ages, and its Sonic against robotnik/Eggman.
Some people say they don't like the sonic comics, because its changed so much from the source material....but...the comic is still sonic against eggman/Robotnik, and the comic can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
And, people say they don't like sonic x, because it too has supposedly changed form the source material...but...ONCE AGAIN, the show is sonic against eggman/Robotnik, and the show can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
and all these things, does also have action, adventure, and humor. true, some of these things, may focus more on one of these terms, then the others, but they all still have action, adventure, and humor. Sonic is about sonic against eggman/Robotnik, and its also about action, adventure and humor.
Yeah, Im sure, I have asked this question, earlier. does anyone in the fanbase know what sonic is about anymore? Well, some people clearly don't. (like Penders, who for some reason thought sonic was supposed to be a drama. )
Its all okay, that people don't like any of these things, but saying that non of these things, doesn't have anything to do with sonic? Whats up with that? I don't get it anymore. if, the best reason for not liking something, is something that is not true? Well, those people really need to learn a thing or two about sonic.
what do you think about this? Am I all wrong about what sonic is supposed to be about, or is the fanbase even more crazy, and need to learn a thing or two about sonic?
