You know, I have nothing against reviews, whether good or bad. everyone has their opinion on certain movies and video games. but...that doesn't mean you can't review everything. what do I mean by that? Well...I saw a review of a sonic game....it was given a bad review. now, like I said I don't mind that, people have their own opinions, and all that! now...then I learned something. he hadn't played the game at all....he had just watched playthroughs on youtube....WHAT? I mean, its okay to review, but you can't review a game you haven't played! Thats like reviewing a movie by reading the plot for it on wikipedia! you can't review a game, unless you have PLAYED the game first! Because you can only get the real feel of the game, if you play it first! like physics, how the game feels, the controls, ETC ETC ETC! So...yeah. if you want to review a game or a movie. You have to play the game, or watch the movie BEFORE you review them!

I can't believe I have to say all this, but...yeah. there are people like this around. geez.

To be fair, if you review something like a movie, you need to watch it yourself in order to judge whether it is good or not.

But with games... today, we have the internet, when we want something to know, we just look it up, maybe a playthrough or a full review and it's in YOUR point of your view to judge, if this game appeals to you in any way or not. Back then, you had the option of renting a game from the local videostore and in order to get ANY help, if you have a problem with a game, you need a subscription to a magazine series like Nintendo Power.
