is there, Marvel favoritism amongst critics?

Okay, I admit I haven't seen guardians of the galaxy yet, but I will see it. but...I noticed something. the style of the movie, reminds me of the green lantern live action movie. and, in the marvel movies there, have been some changes in the source material, like with how they ruined the mandarin, in iron man 3. And, yet nobody amongst the reviewers mostly, had any problem with that, and gave iron man 3 a good review. In green lantern they did some changes, but it wasn't a dark movie, and I personally liked it  very much. At first I thought the movie got bad reviews cause it might have been to much science fiction-y with space and all.


but...seems to me that guardians of the galaxy is just as much science fiction-y and it get so much praise...and, people are saying "Batman V Superman: Dawn of justice will suck!" before it has even come out yet! So.....are there, marvel favoritism amongst critics? I admit, that marvel got movies that are better then DC movies, but DC still got movies that are better then Marvel too! Like for example I think the dark knight rises is much better then the avengers. And personally, while The Avengers is a good movie, its full of cliches, and I felt the dark knight rises was much more original, and much less cliches. AND YET the Avengers gets more praised then the dark knight rises? What gives? I don't know if it is marvel favoritism amongst critics, but I am quite sick of this, and would like, it if A DC movie can get more praise then a marvel movie for once! as much as Marvel has great heroes and great movies, DC Also got great movies and heroes!
